Vegetable Box Subscriptions
Know Your Farmer! Start supporting a small scale farm and feed your family with organically grown food. This is the closest option to your own backyard bounty. Local and seasonal.
We offer real food with minimal waste and maximum taste. Our vegetables have matured on the plant, not in the truck, and are handpicked fresh every Wednesday.
What's different about our produce?
100% organically grown vegetables and flowers (we do not spray our produce at all)
100% fresh (mostly picked within hours of delivery)
Minimal waste (reusable tubs and little to no packaging).
We plan each week to have a balanced box with a mix of 7-11 items + herbs.
That means that sometimes if we have extreme weather, one crop is taking a beating yet another is flourishing. On occasion, we sneak in a bonus bunch of flowers, the odd jam jar, pesto or a punnet of mulberries. Most items will be familiar and we include recipes for inspiration. We are not certified but grow organically and sustainably.
Because of the size of our garden, we have chosen to focus on growing all those vegetables that retain the best quality when ripened on the plant and picked fresh. To make room we have also decided that buying a couple of storage crops like pumpkins, sweet potato and onions from certified organic farms provide our customers with the best of both worlds. We do offer Paleo boxes.
The vegetable boxes are $45 and we deliver for free on Wednesdays to Thirlmere, Tahmoor and Picton. Surrounding suburbs are $5, including Wilton. Delivery to Camden area is $8 (or free pickup below).
We also offer free pickups from:
The farm in Thirlmere - Wednesdays 2.30pm-5.00pm
Camden - The Epicure Store at 39 John Street on Thursday afternoons (between 3.45pm-5.00pm).
Bowral - The Press Shop at 397-397 Bong Bong Street on Thursday Mornings (between 9.30-11.00)
Vegetables are not refrigerated when kept in either of these shops, so earlier pickup is better. All inquiries via us.
